D’Liras: a project cared and thought for in every detail to relish one of the foods with some of the richest history and tradition. The frozen world captured in our popsicles does not have a limit in creativity. Formed by a team of professionals captained and guided by Mario Ramirez and Claudia Suarez that gives us their passion and love for this art in every flavor.

WHO WE ARE

A team, a passion, an experience, a constant evolution and learning opportunity; two people unite their talents to share pleasure and flavor, and they invite you to relish this experience.

The world of desserts cannot be complete if we don’t include a popsicle or a gelato. To enjoy them in any season, feeling the air on your skin and hair, brings a special feeling of liberation.

Mario Ramirez brings that world from his childhood in his parents’ bakery- enjoying that liberty and learning about every detail from a very young age. From his father he’s inherited his amusement for the world of bakery and frozen desserts. From his mother, that special touch that brings flavor and marks the difference in every product that grazed her hands. 

Claudia Suarez, with her gustatory memory, Mexican roots, interest in cuisine, and her baking talents, is placed in this delicate balance. She gives the perfect harmony, where passion and perfection mark the difference in our project.

Finding the place to present our proposal would prove to be a challenge. However, in the end we found this challenge would bring about a great result. And it was like that that in the likes of Wilton Manors we found a space we desired and where D’Liras would be born.

The connotation of our name comes from the union of the syllables that represent our families. Perhaps it can be said that it also comes from the Castilian verb that has several definitions, D’Liras, of which the one that is described in the following manner is born: “Having a great fondness for one thing.”  This definition is not far from the passion we have for our popsicles, gelatos, and our home-made desserts. For this very reason we loved our name and want to bring it to every crack and cranny possible. 

Each creation is a carefully crafted work of art, made of prime material of excellent quality and combined with complex technology. All of this for nothing less than to obtain the best result that will allow our clients, young and old, to relish that feeling of liberation in the world of popsicles and frozen desserts. There is no limit to creativity.

Our dream has become a reality and it’s incredible to share it with all of you. Experiencing that world is fantastic, where transmitting our love, passion, and dedication is our principal objective.

Mario Ramírez

Head chef

Chef Mario Ramirez López was born on May 26, 1958, in Girardot Colombia. Chef and entrepreneur, partner and owner of D’Liras. The place specializes in Gelato and Mexican Paletas. His knowledge and experience were acquired through his studies and work carried out in Europe, South América, and United States.
